The Admin Control Panel gives you full control over the users in your tree \u2014 adding new people, adjusting their plans as their role changes, and removing them when they leave. Every action is seat-safe: the Control Panel will never silently overspend your inventory or leave a user half-configured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding a user<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you add a Domain User, one available seat of the plan you choose is taken from the account you’re adding them under. Before you start, make sure that account has at least one available seat of the right plan \u2014 if not, you’ll need to purchase or allocate one first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the branch in your tree where you want to add the user.<\/li>\n
  2. Choose Add User<\/strong> and enter their details \u2014 name, email address, and any other required fields.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the plan: Domain User, Business, or Business Pro.<\/li>\n
  4. Confirm. The seat is assigned and the user is created immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note: If there is no available seat of the chosen plan, the Control Panel will stop and prompt you to buy or allocate one. It will never silently create a user without a valid seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Choosing a specific seat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    When adding a user under a sub-account, you can open the inventory picker<\/strong> to choose exactly which seat to use. This is particularly useful in reseller setups where multiple seat owners have allocated inventory to the same sub-account \u2014 each allocation is tracked separately, and you can see at a glance which seats belong to which owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The picker only shows seats that are free and genuinely yours to spend on that branch. Anything in the list is safe to select.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Changing a user’s plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    User roles change. Someone joins as a standard Domain User and later takes on responsibility for their own team \u2014 that’s when you’d upgrade them to a Business plan so they can start managing users of their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To change a plan, select the user, pick the new plan, and confirm. The Control Panel releases their old seat and assigns an available seat of the new plan in a single step. If no seat of the new plan is available, the change is refused and you’ll be prompted to source one first \u2014 the user stays on their current plan until you’re ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Removing a user<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Removing a user frees their seat back to Available<\/strong> immediately. The seat is not lost \u2014 it returns to the pool of the account it came from, ready to be reassigned to someone else. There is no delay and no charge adjustment for the mid-cycle removal \u2014 seat changes settle at the next billing cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Most users can be removed in a single step. In some cases \u2014 typically where a user is on an advanced plan that has set up additional resources such as sub-accounts or allocated inventory \u2014 you’ll be prompted to wind those down first before the removal can complete. The Control Panel will tell you exactly what needs to be resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tip: Removing a user does not permanently delete their history. If you need to re-add them later, you can do so \u2014 just assign them a seat of the appropriate plan as you would any new user.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
