At the top is your own account. Beneath it sit the users and sub-accounts you manage directly, and beneath those sit their users and sub-accounts — as deep as your organisation needs to go. Every relationship in Siperb flows through this tree.

The tree view in the Admin Control Panel is how you see and act on all of this. You can add users, review what a branch is using, move seats around, and manage plans — all from a single interface, for every account you’re responsible for.

The roles

Owner (your account) — you buy seats, decide how they’re distributed, and are responsible for the accounts beneath you. An owner can be on a Free, Business, or Business Pro plan. Free is only available if you have no users under you.

Domain Users — the people you add directly under your account. Each one occupies a seat. They use Siperb under your account’s umbrella — their seat is paid for by you, not by them.

Sub-accounts (branches) — a Domain User who has grown their own branch of users. A sub-account manages their own users and can allocate seats down to their own sub-accounts. They are still a user in your tree, just one with their own tree beneath them.

How billing flows through the tree

Siperb uses a cost-centre model: each account pays for the users beneath it, not for itself. Your seat is paid for by whoever sits above you in the tree. If you’re the top-level owner, you pay for all the seats you’ve bought. A sub-account you’ve set up doesn’t pay for their own seat — that’s covered by you — but they can activate their own billing to pay for the users beneath them.

This makes Siperb well suited to department structures, reseller setups, or any situation where multiple teams each manage their own users independently but roll up to a single account at the top.

How to read the tree

Each user shows the plan they’re on.

Branch heads (sub-accounts) show how many users sit beneath them.

Expanding a branch reveals that account’s own users and sub-accounts.

You can act on any part of the tree you’re responsible for — add a user under a sub-account, change a plan two levels down, review what a whole branch is consuming.

Common tree shapes

Flat: You add all users directly under your own account. Simple, easy to manage, works well for small teams where everyone reports to the same place.

Branched: You create one sub-account per department or client, each with their own users. Each branch head manages their own people; you see the whole picture from the top. This is the typical setup for resellers and larger organisations.

Note: A Domain User and a sub-account are the same kind of record. A sub-account is simply a Domain User who has grown their own branch. Nothing special is created — the tree just grows when someone beneath you starts adding their own users.

Your account is organised as a tree.
